Win a Microchip Integrated Graphics and Touch (IGaT) Curiosity Evaluation Kit

Win a Microchip Integrated Graphics and Touch (IGaT) Curiosity Evaluation Kit (EV14C17A) from Softei and if you don’t win, receive a 15% off coupon for this kit, plus free shipping.

The Integrated Graphics and Touch (IGaT) Curiosity Evaluation Kit uses the SAME51J20A 32-bit microcontroller from Microchip Technology to implement a minimised chip-count graphics and 2D touch screen solution for cost-sensitive applications without performance compromises. This innovative system of hardware platform and software libraries will demonstrate how to easily craft human-machine interfaces for a variety of applications without the need for an external touch controller.

The SAM E5x series features a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M4 processor with FPU running at up to 120 MHz, up to 1 MB of dual-panel Flash with ECC, and up to 256 KB of SRAM with ECC. It also has a 10/100 Ethernet MAC and two CAN FD ports for creating industrial automation, automotive applications and general-purpose applications that require wired connectivity. This series offers excellent features with class-leading power performance and integrated hardware security, making it an ideal choice for low-power and secure connected applications.

This design is ahead of all other Arm® Cortex®-M4 touch and graphics solutions on the market because it eliminates the need of a dedicated touch controller and the need for tuning the controller, reducing cost and complexity. All firmware, including the graphics and touch library and demo applications, is publicly available through the integrated MPLAB® Harmony v3 Framework.
