Avnet Silica expands industrial IoT connectivity portfolio with Teltonika Networks
Avnet Silica has signed an EMEA-wide master distribution agreement with Teltonika Networks, expanding access to the company’s portfolio of industrial IoT and connectivity products.
The agreement covers Teltonika Networks’ range of modems, routers, gateways and switches, as well as its Remote Management System (RMS) for centralised monitoring and management of connected devices.
The new agreement builds on five years of cooperation between the two companies in selected European markets and extends their relationship across the wider Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Avnet Silica and Teltonika Networks will also invest jointly in customer activities and inventory to support the expanded partnership.
Industrial IoT Connectivity for Connected Equipment
As industrial IoT deployments continue to grow, manufacturers and system integrators need reliable ways to connect industrial equipment to wider networks and the internet.
Teltonika Networks’ ready-to-deploy hardware supports connectivity technologies including Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G, enabling customers to add network and internet connectivity to industrial equipment using off-the-shelf routers and gateways.
The products are designed for industrial applications where reliable connectivity, remote management and straightforward deployment are important requirements.
Combining Industrial Networking and Connectivity Expertise
Avnet Silica will combine Teltonika Networks’ industrial routers and gateways with its own technical expertise and complementary connectivity technologies.
The distributor can also support customers with eUICC solutions, cellular connectivity, antennas and secure cloud connectivity. This provides customers with a broader route from component selection and system design through to deployment.
