element14 Community invites engineers to test the new Arduino VENTUNO Q for free
element14 is inviting engineers and makers to apply for the opportunity to evaluate Arduino’s new VENTUNO Q single-board computer (SBC) and share their findings with the global community.
Building on Arduino’s expanding portfolio of development platforms, the VENTUNO Q combines a Qualcomm Dragonwing IP8 Series SoC capable of running Debian or Ubuntu Linux with an ARM Cortex-based STM32H5F5 microcontroller for real-time control. This dual-processor architecture enables developers to explore a wide range of embedded, AI, robotics and edge computing applications.
Engineers selected for the RoadTest will receive a VENTUNO Q and supporting accessories free of charge. Participants are encouraged to design and document a project or evaluation plan, test the board’s capabilities, and publish a detailed review on the element14 Community. Once the review is complete, participants keep the hardware.
The RoadTest program is designed to provide engineers with hands-on access to emerging technologies while helping the broader community gain practical insights from real-world testing. Potential project areas include autonomous robotics, machine vision, industrial automation, traffic monitoring, and offline AI-powered applications.
To apply, members should outline their technical background, proposed project or test plan, and the specific aspects of the VENTUNO Q they intend to evaluate, such as performance, power efficiency, networking capabilities, software integration, or expansion flexibility.
Applications are open until 9 October 2026. Registration to join the element14 Community is free and required to participate.
