Insole is connected to smartphone – no more cold feet

The Warm Series is a shoe insole that is connected to a smartphone to set the wearer’s desired comfort temperature. Users can continue with outdoor activities and sports (like hiking, cycling, hunting, golfing, motorcycling, snowboarding) in comfort, says Digitsole, as well as improve well-being during more daily activities like commuting, walking the dog or watching a football match. It can also be used by outdoor professionals, working in construction, warehouse or security.

The Warm Series can also improve general well-being, especially if the user suffers from blood circulation issues, such as Raynaud’s disease, although Digitsole points out that it is not a medical device.

The insole can be connected to a phone to use the application to set the desired comfort temperature, from 30 to 45 degree C. The built in thermostat will automatically regulate the temperature in shoes to the desired heat, for a stable, comfortable warmth throughout the day and in any circumstances.

The application is available on iOS (above 9.0) and Android (above 5.0) and allows the user to connect to the insole using Bluetooth low energy connectivity on the phone. Through the app, the temperature of each insole can be set separately. It also quantifies daily activity, and keep count of not only the number of steps, but built in sensors will track the distance walked and calories burned.

The Warm Series features different proprietary footwear technologies, including a Flex-Zone which optimises the natural movement of the foot, a medium arch-support to restore natural foot function and an X-torsion system to improve foot stability.

The Neotouch, Soft Touch PU insole weighs 120 to 150g and is available in European shoe sizes 26 to 47.

Battery life is from two to six hours, depending on usage. The battery output is Hi-Cap rechargeable.
