14mm mount CL series panel LED is for industrial and exterior use
A 14mm mount CL series panel LED has been released by Microprecision Electronics. The CL series LED is for industrial and outdoor applications. It incorporates a 10mm LED which is available in red, green, yellow, blue and bi-colour options. Pre-wired with internal resistors, the indicators can be configured for voltages up to 60V DC or 120/240V AC.
The CL series LED’s robust M14 size metal housing is designed for panel thicknesses up to 0.394inch, or 10mm, and is resistant to shock and vibration. Fully filled with epoxy and equipped with a front sealing gasket, the indicator offers IP67 front and back sealing for outdoor use.
Microprecision Electronics is a manufacturer of industrial microswitches and LED indicator lights with manufacturing in Switzerland and the USA. It began as a supplier to the Swiss watch industry. Its competencies in manufacturing precision parts led to the development of microswitches, and the company concentrated on the switch product line and specifically on sealed switches. In 2005, it formed a US subsidiary, based in Minneapolis, MN and acquired the LEDCO business of Wilbrecht Electronics in 2008.
The facilities in the US and Switzerland manufacture customised precision electro-mechanical components, microswitches, limit switches, LED indicator lights and metal foil resistors for machinery, aerospace, military, medical and telecommunications applications.
